Born and raised in Istanbul, I've been drawing since childhood. Growing up in the golden age of cartoons in the 90s, I'm heavily inspired by that bold, exaggerated cartoon style with vivid colors and surreal backgrounds; and developed my playful, quirky and a little chaotic art style. Special shout out to Rocko's Modern Life for this.

Professionally, I've been working as an illustration artist & art director for over 15 years. Starting locally, I’ve been fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work with clients from all over the world.

I've studied Visual Arts and Communication Design at Sabancı University with a scholarship. After graduating in 2012, I've spent the following years working for global advertising agencies like Tribal Worldwide, GREY and Voden-Leo Burnett; meanwhile collaborating with individuals such as internationally admired singer Can Bonomo and children's book publishers like İthaki and Kırmızı Kedi.

Being an avid gamer myself and a huge fan of indie games -even developing a mini 2D video game for my final project at Sabancı University- later on I've worked for Cultic Games as the lead artist for Cats and Other Lives.

For a long time now, I've been working as a full-time freelancer with my dogs, cat, hedgehogs and birds as my co-workers.

Lastly, I don't use or approve of artificial intelligence in art. The words of Eric Reinhart from The Guardian describes my opinions perfectly:
"The essence of art is lost in the process of its machinic invention".
